Statement of Faith

At New Mercies Counseling, I believe the Bible is the inspired and trustworthy Word of God and the foundation for truth, healing, wisdom, and daily living. I believe in one God eternally existing in three persons — Father, Son, and Holy Spirit — who created all people with dignity, value, and purpose.

I believe Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man, who lived a sinless life, died for our sins, rose again bodily from the grave, and offers salvation, hope, forgiveness, and new life to all who place their faith in Him. I believe salvation is a gift of God’s grace received through faith in Jesus Christ alone.

I believe the Holy Spirit dwells within believers, bringing comfort, conviction, guidance, healing, transformation, and spiritual growth. I believe God cares deeply about the brokenhearted and desires restoration, mercy, and healing for individuals, couples, and families.

I believe every person is created in the image of God and worthy of compassion, dignity, and care. I believe all people struggle with sin and brokenness, yet God lovingly invites each person into redemption, healing, and renewed identity through Christ.

I believe marriage is a covenant established by God between one man and one woman and that the family is foundational to healthy relationships and society.

I believe the Church is the body of Christ, called to reflect God’s truth, grace, mercy, and love in the world. I believe Jesus Christ will one day personally return and establish His eternal kingdom.

My desire in counseling is to provide a compassionate, safe, and grace-filled environment where individuals can experience hope, healing, truth, and restoration through biblically grounded care.
